Flint Ink Abandoned

At its peak, Flint Ink (formerly California Ink) was one of the biggest companies in Berkeley, producing almost every imaginable type of ink. They developed the first magnetic inks for check imprinting. These pictures are from 3 of the many buildings on site, which I'm working on exploring.

All these pictures were taken with a Canon 20D.

SuperiorToaster.

This is about half of the building

And this is the other half.

Some tag. There was some pretty cool work here, not as much as I would have liked though

This tag was brand new, I'm going to try to go back with some medium format gear to get more photos of this room.

These doors lead into a charming room filled with water and mosquito eggs.

The roof.

Freight elevator shaft.

In another one of the buildings.

I DON'T GIVE OUT LOCATIONS.  I DON'T KNOW IF THE BUILDINGS ARE FOR SALE.  I DON'T KNOW IF THE BUILDINGS ARE STILL STANDING.
