Cabin On The Hill, Cassiar, BC- Approx 100miles from Watson Lake, YT
So it's only taken me half a year (lol) but I've finally decided to finish
uploading the pictures I took when I went to Cassiar last summer. Enjoy!
Trespassing Signs: The
closed sign at the entrance to the Cassiar road, none on the building
itself.
Patrolled: Yes....sorta. While this is outside the "townsite" of Cassiar,
the area is currently being used by the BC government for various projects.
There is a camp there where some people are working (unsure how many), so
someone may stop you out of pure curiosity (it's not a place that is
known for visitors considering its in the middle of nowhere). If they ask you to
leave, please respect their wishes.
Personally Visited: Yes, May 31st, 2008
This little cabin is hidden high up on a hill, and it's almost impossible to see
from the road. We found it when looking at
the house on the hill, and there was a trail leading up and away. We decided
to follow it and came up to this one!
Looking up at the cabin, it's very little.
Shed in front of the cabin.
Same shed
The "porch", which was barely high enough to stand.
Bathroom
This couch is gross lol.
More yucky couch.
Bedroom
Garfield!
Papers and things
Date on paper (name and address blotched out for privacy)
Really funky walls...
Inside the tiny kitchen.
I'd hate to have to cook in there, it's so small... I'm surprised they got that stuff in there.
...Don't remember what this was.
