Newberry

"The photos were taken of a structure in Newberry, Fl located on US hwy 41 just north of hwy 26. From what I have heard from the locals is that it was, at one time, a restaurant. From its last days, it may have been an automotive garage judging by all the auto and truck parts scattered around. There is also an old Ford flatbed truck stuck in the middle of the trees. The painted signs on the walls at the restrooms with the words “WHITES ONLY” and “COLOREDS “ with an arrow pointing to the rear of the building shows the shades of the Southern past. I passed by this building daily for 13 years but figured I had better take photos before the print on the walls completely disappeared or the building was torn town. "
