Abandoned House in Iowa

The attached pictures are of a house that sat on 12th st in Eldora , IA.   The owner left it with more than half her belongings still inside and just moved.  after being that way for more than a year, the city got an abatement on the property and tore the house down.  I did not get an pictures of the house as it was being torn down as I felt it was a shame for it to happen.  I also did not get any pictures of the inside prior to it being torn down as the day the owner did come back to get some items and let me tour the inside, I didn't have my camera.  I do know that the stain glass window that had been rescued from an old church and installed in the house was saved along with all of the old woodwork (including an entire library room and a fire place with mantel and the open wood double stair case).  I was told that before the lady who owned it had the house that it was owned by a very eccentric man who started his own church in the gray tower of the house.  I was also the victim of a fire and many of the rafters in the attic still had charred wood.  The eccentric owner just patched the burn holes in the roof.
