I found a house on google earth awhile ago only to check it out and find it completely falling apart... I did however find a house just down the street that was suitable for exploration, so I visited it and took some pictures. Based on mail and checks I found in the house I'm guessing the people moved out sometime in the early summer of '98. Assuming that's the case, the house was actually in pretty decent shape. I only went to the first floor and the garage and checked out the shed and barn in the back. I heard noises coming from the second floor and was concerned there might be animals living up there so I decided against going up there... Then I decided 'Why the f**k wouldn't you go up there? You drove an hour to get here and walked a mile. Get the f**k up those stairs now!' and so then I went up the stairs, got about 3/4 of the way up and heard a really loud noise and though 'oh shit, that's a bad omen! Back down the stairs! Back down the stairs!' ...and so long story short, I'm pretty sure I missed out on the coolest part of the house because the wind knocked something over Posted Image

The first floor was pretty cool though. Unfortunately I didn't get a ton of pictures because the house was boarded up and there wasn't a lot of light, most rooms were pitch black and my camera was being difficult about taking pictures in the dark. And unfortunately most of the pictures I took were bad quality... I knew I should have brought my tripod! lol. Oh well, enjoy the rest ;p

The house I was originally interested in:

The house I went to:

The Garage:

^ poor guy Posted Image any idea on what kind of animal it was?

The Entrance:

Dining Room:

Kitchen:

^was able to set my camera down on a counter in the kitchen and do a long exposure shot.

Barn:

^Found this little room attached to the barn where they stored their Christmas decorations... that lady with the kid is pretty creepy to begin with lol.

Went back to this house this weekend. I made it up the stairs this time! More pictures:

^that's the one I didn't go inside.

^Maybe the house was occupied longer than I originally thought? Or maybe someone else moved in.

And these are my favorite photos:

^Door that leads from the garage to the basement. It was stuck shut though.
