Abandoned Shoe Factory

Over the summer a friend and I went for some urban exploration in our little town. We found a former shoe factory (for world war I troops) that also was the sole manufacturing location of all "Everlast" merchandise. About three years after they moved out it was condemned and is now in the process of being torn down. The building is three stories, forms a U shape with the exception of the administration offices on the first floor. The outer wings of the U were built at separate times. Each wing has two sets of fire escape stairs. On the inside the building has one central set of stairs and one :krad2: elevator. A lot of the floors had large holes in the wood and almost all the windows have been busted out.

"Report all injuries to your foreman."

I believe this contraption had something to do with the glove making process.

This is an old timeclock that I don't believe has been used since the 1970s.

Someone's been on the roof.

Our town really isn't big enough to have a "east side" and a "west side" but people pretend to be thugs anyway.

I really liked this elevator.

The ladder goes to the roof.

The water tower was built when the building was still a shoe factory.
