Ft. Fisher Hermit’s bunker
This is an ammunition storage bunker left
from WWII when there was an antiaircraft firing range located there. Ft. Fisher
had been the site of a military fort since the Civil War.
The bunker was occupied by Robert E. Harrill better know as the Ft. Fisher
Hermit for 17 years during the 60's and 70's.
