Bridge in Mud Valley

Bridge in Mud Valley

Along time ago when the railroad was working there used to be a switch track box located by the entrance. A few local kids messed with the box and the train derailed sad but true it killed a few people. After that the tracks became vacant for many years. Then one day in the 1980's they reused the tracks to make a water way under the dirt road for drainage. Seems since then it floods more but that one of Mud Valley's flood problems from the United States Army. Now the bridge has been welded with thick metal to close it but many residence just hop the metal and chill on the bridge.
