Abington Cemetery History

Abington Presbyterian Church Cemetery

Abington Church was founded in 1714 and the cemetery was established in 1719. The first recorded burial took place at this site in 1728. This cemetery is the site of Revolutionary War skirmishes. Burials here include pastors and educators who are notable in Abington, Philadelphia, and Princeton. And also veterans of major wars.
