The Abyss isn't in the ocean, it is in South Carolina

You may already know this, but I figured I'd write you anyway...
The pictures from The Abyss
are part of what was supposed to be a
nuclear power plant in
Gaffney that was abandoned many years ago. Recently, Duke Power, the
company who was originally going to build the plant, has announced that they are
going to finish building the plant after all these years. Most of the land
surrounding the plant is going to flooded in, so many homes in the immediate
area are going to be torn down, and the land will be leveled out.
