Yorktown
"Yorktown Memorial Hospital closed it's doors in the late 1980s
and has sat abandoned until 3 years ago when the new owner bought it and opened
it to paranormal investigators. It's an amazing building!
The Yorktown city administration did a surprise inspection on the building on
Sep 8th and gave it some building violations so a certificate of occupancy can
not be granted and effectively shut this building down for good, the
administrator also commented he would like to see it demolished. There is an
active effort to save this location, and a movie is being filmed in the town
that features it
