Purgatory House

Purgatory House 1

This is what the outside of the house looks like. It is surrounded by trees, making it pretty dark inside (and out) even during the day time.

I noticed this sign on the side of Purgatory Road, so I had to pull over and get a shot of it. It really looks like the guy in the car is throwing a body (head first) out of his car. I made the image of the sign larger in the picture below, take a look.

A lot of tires in the backyard. Pretty strange thing to collect.

A picture of the side of the house, where a toy horse is hung in the tree. Incase you didn't notice, there is a big mist cloud around the horse area. It wasn't there when we took the picture. Theresa made note that on another webpage we saw that had a picture of that same tree, had a big mist cloud in their picture.

We found three cars here. There could have been more. They are pretty hard to see in the pictures, not only because they are covered in shrubbery, but also because I couldn't get that close to take pictures of two of them - due to thorn bushes (they hurt).

Just one of the walls with writing on it. Notice in the bottom left corner of the picture it says "Kill Mike Brown"? Well, he is not only a good friend of Mike's, but he is also the singer of the South Jersey band Contra. Check them out.

Just a few of the clothing articles left in the house.

My best guess is that this is a picture of the Mother.

A strange little portion of the collage on the wall of one of the bedrooms. I suppose it was the daughters room.

As the story goes, this is the rain coat that the little girl wore on the night she died. That is supposed to be her blood on the jacket. I'll let you make the decision as to wether it's blood or spray paint. Another clue is that the same color is used for the spray paint, not only right there on the wall next to the jacket, but all over the house.

Just a picture of a hallway. Through that door is a room that had lots of smashed TV's. By the way, TV's are found all over the property of the house. Inside and out. I was going to take a picture of that room, but I left my other camera in the car (which was far away).
