Abandoned Mansion and Guest House Part 2 (Aug 2012)

Pictures submitted by Nicole

Her email to ABNF:

These are the pictures that I took while in the house and guesthouse. I wasn’t able to get into some of the rooms due to the dark and we didn’t think to bring flashlights. Also I could not get into the basement because we weren’t sure if the stairs were safe, and i couldn’t get onto the third floor because the stairs were water damaged. So the pictures in the house are outside, on the first floor, and on the second floor. In the guesthouse we couldn’t go onto the second floor because there were holes all over the floors upstairs.

I took a lot of pictures, but I was really interested in the house and wanted to document what had happened to it. I was hoping that maybe if people saw the before and after pictures they might be able to help or even that someone might want to restore the house. It would be so sad if this house would ever get demolished. Too many old historical houses full of memories get demolished. People should be preserving these houses and not destroying them.

Thank you so much for all your help so far, you have an amazing website with so many places!!
