Sterling Hotel Inside
This email is to let you know that the Sterling Hotel in Wilkesbarre
Pennsyvania
is being torn down. The work is being done by Brandenburg Construction
(brandenburg.com) of Chicago Illinois. The fourteen story tower, along
with
the
four story connector building is in the process of being ripped down.
The seven
story old part of the complex is being saved for renovating or
constructing for
new office space and upper end housing.
UPDATE FROM CHRIS (July 2013):
"Just wanted to give you an update on one of the locations on your website--the Hotel Sterling in Wilkes-Barre, Penn.
The tower building is long gone, and the seven-story original part of the building was gutted in 2007. I was in there a few weeks ago,
and aside from the lobby, the entire building is just a shell with gutted floors. There's nothing left inside. The building is going to be torn down by the end of the summer.
